Off the coast of Scotland, a small wind-swept island comes to life when the puffins return to breed. Every puffin is a distinct character playing a part in a wider story - we'll see old friendships, new loves and a new generation of puffin chicks. But the life of a puffin isn't easy. There are plenty of threats and challenges from rats to the competition for food. Using the latest technology, we tell the story of these iconic birds over one season.
